Hey, there, welcome. I am so excited that you stopped by. I love The Classical Pilates Method and want to share everything I have learned so far and inspire you to continue your practice. Every week I share an article and a free video for your practice. Sign up and be the first one to receive it.

This week’s video could not be more opposite to last week’s session.

We all love spring, but it also brings all kinds of allergies and coughs, which sometimes turn into the flu to help cleanse the system. When this happens, we feel entirely wiped out. Yet, since movement heals, you know that as soon as you feel human again, movement is the only thing that can spring you back to life. But how much is too much? Today is the perfect video of mindful movement. You need to renew your cells if you have yet to feel 100%.

Remember, your body knows best. If anything doesn’t feel right, skipping an exercise is okay. Your comfort and safety are paramount.

This month, we focus on the feet and legs; check out this simple cue, which is critical to all your leg work on the mat and equipment.

Equipment: Reformer

Pilates Exercise: Supine leg springs & frogs

Tips and techniques:  The wrap

Alignment: The wrap is a technique that strengthen the legs to the core muscles. When you squeeze your legs together and maintain your legs in a turn out position, the inner thighs and the hamstrings muscles turn on creating a power strength.
